You belong to God, my son
And He belongs to you.
By water and blood He's won it all
And given us our cue
To fight for our victorious king
So with every battle new,
May God make you a valiant
Warrior through and through.

You belong to us, my son
And we belong to you.
We two have become one and now
You remind us anew
How faith in promises has grown
The Ansett's and Dowers' pew.
May God make you a valiant
Warrior through and through.

You belong to the people of God
And His body belongs to you.
Grab their hands and call them "Mine"
These are your brothers who
Will share your tears and songs and sweat.
The more you take this view
God will make you a valiant
Warrior through and through.

You belong to all the world,
And this world belongs to you.
The King has come, creation's free
And the victory will come to
All people; son, start one by one
Each heart and inch subdue.
And as we have called you valiant
May God make you a valiant
Warrior through and through.
